Wahyain Foundation teaches the Qur’an and Sunnah alongside a modern education, guides families by the Shariah, and helps those in need stand on their own feet. This is our work, and an invitation to share in its reward.

An academic dialogue between Mufti Shamail Nadwi and the poet and lyricist Javed Akhtar, organised jointly by Wahyain Foundation, with journalist Saurabh Dwivedi moderating. Mufti Shamail’s case was simple to state and hard to dismiss: whether God exists is a metaphysical question, not a scientific one, and it deserves to be answered with reason and respect.
Wahyain means the two revelations: the Qur’an and the Sunnah. Everything we do is rooted in them and guided by them.
We are a legally registered public charitable trust, founded in Kolkata in 2024 by Mufti Shamail Ahmad Abdullah Nadwi. We believe Islam is more than the few acts of worship that today’s world has reduced it to; it is a complete way of life. So we strive to deliver our work in every aspect of life.
O you who believe, enter into Islam completely.
Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:208Atheism and Western ideologies reach young people through their phones every day. Too few have a qualified teacher they can turn to, face to face, for an honest and well-argued answer.
For many, Islam has shrunk to certain acts of worship. Yet it is a complete way of life, with guidance for the family, the masjid, the marketplace and the mind.
The Ummah needs scholars who are rooted in the Qur’an and Sunnah, understand the modern world, and can lead with confidence in every field.
Much charity meets today’s need and leaves tomorrow’s untouched. Families stay reliant, and some are pushed to beg. Islam asks for more: dignity and self-sufficiency.
Wahyain Foundation was founded to meet these needs, with the tawfeeq of Allah.

More and more, young Muslims ask whether imaan itself still makes sense in the world they live in. Such questions are not settled by one lecture or one debate. They are answered in classrooms, over years, by teachers who care.
I invite you to become a partner in this noble mission of revival. All the work happening here carries your reward with it, in sha Allah.
Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,
For years I have been teaching and interacting with youths and students, and the questions that reach me are no longer only about fiqh or tafseer. More and more, young Muslims ask whether imaan itself still makes sense in the world they live in.
Such questions are not settled by one lecture or one debate. They are answered in classrooms, over years, by teachers who care. That is why we founded Wahyain Foundation: to build places where a young Muslim can gain a modern education without losing the Deen, where a family can bring its problems to the Shariah, and where those in need are helped to stand on their own.
By the grace of Allah, the work has begun. To grow it, we need people who share this concern. I invite you to read these pages and, if they move you, to become a partner in this noble mission of revival. All the work happening here carries your reward with it, in sha Allah.
Jazakumullahu khairan,
Mufti Shamail Ahmad Abdullah Nadwi

When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: a continuing charity, knowledge from which benefit is derived, or a righteous child who prays for him.
