Privacy policy and terms of use
Last updated 21 October 2026. This page explains what information reaches us when you use this website, give a donation or contact us, how we use it, and the terms for using the site.
Who we are
Wahyain Foundation is a public charitable trust in Kolkata, Registration No. IV-160600032/2021, at Pioneer House, 289 E Darga Road, Kolkata 700017. For anything on this page, write to officewahyain@gmail.com or call / WhatsApp +91 91238 08033.
What this website collects
This website has no sign-up, no forms, no tracking or advertising cookies and no analytics. It does not collect your name, phone number or email. Our web host keeps standard technical logs, such as IP addresses and browser type, for security and to keep the site running.
Donations
Donations are made on Razorpay’s secure payment page, not on this website. Razorpay collects the details you enter there and handles your payment under its own privacy policy. We receive the details you enter on that page, such as your name, phone number, email address and amount, along with the payment reference and any note you add (for example “Zakat”). We never see your full card or bank details.
Messages, calls and email
When you message us on WhatsApp, call or email us, we receive your phone number or email address and what you send. WhatsApp is run by Meta under its own privacy policy.
Embedded video
The debate video plays from YouTube in its privacy-enhanced mode, and only after you press play. From that point YouTube may set cookies under Google’s privacy policy. You can also watch it directly on YouTube.
How we use and share your information
- To confirm, record and account for your donation, and to keep Zakat separate from other donations.
- To reply to your messages, including admission enquiries.
- To send you updates on the work, only if you choose to join the Wahyain donor community on WhatsApp. You can leave it at any time.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your information or share it for marketing. We share it only with the services named above that make donations and messages possible, with our accountants and auditors, or when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep donation records for as long as the law and our accounts require. We keep messages only as long as we need them to help you.
Your rights
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or erase it, withdraw your consent (for example, by leaving the donor community), and nominate someone to act for you. Write to officewahyain@gmail.com or call / WhatsApp +91 91238 08033, and we will respond as soon as we can. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

This website and our social media show photos of our classes, programmes, students and guests. If you would like a photo of yourself or your child removed, contact us and we will remove it.
Terms of use
- Content. The text, photos and logo on this website belong to Wahyain Foundation. You are welcome to share links to this site and the prospectus. Please do not reuse our logo or photos without our permission.
- Donations. Donations are voluntary and are used for the Foundation’s charitable work. Sadaqah is used where it is most needed. Sadaqah and Zakat use the same payment link. Payments you mark “Zakat” are kept separate and used only where Zakat eligibility is met, as guided by our Muftis, so please mention “Zakat” when you give it. Wahyain Foundation is not registered under section 80G, so donations do not get an 80G tax deduction.
- Mistakes in a payment. If you paid the wrong amount or paid twice by mistake, contact us with your Razorpay payment reference and we will look into it.
- Other websites. Links to Razorpay, WhatsApp, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and Google Maps take you to services we do not control. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.
- Changes. We may update this page. The date at the top shows when it last changed. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
